Bichon Frise

The Bichon Frise, or "curly lapdog", is a small, nonsporting breed of dog. Both ears and tail, which is curved to lie on the back, are covered with long hair. The thick, silky coat, loosely curled, is soiled white with cream, apricot, gray sometimes seen on the ears.  Bred centuries ago in Spain and the Mediterranean countries, the dog became a favorite with royalty.
