The Chihuahua has tremendous amount of spirit. He is a alert and graceful, with rounded skull and large, flaring ears.  The coat is short,  soft and glossy and may be any colour.  The breed weighs two to seven pounds, The lighter specimens are generally preferred in the show ring.
