We have 9 kids in our family, so they are used to kids playing with them. If your child is young, you will want to make sure you teach your child how to hold the puppy and play with the puppy gently. Also just supervise when your kids are playing with the puppy. Because every dog is good with kids unless they have had a bad experience.

For example: The Child hasn't been taught how to hold the puppy, so they will often grab the puppy by the neck or tail or squeeze the puppy too tightly. That will make your puppy not like children and your puppy will either run, coward down on the floor or even nip at someone.

So your puppy will turn out exactly the way you teach it to. If you spend lots of time with your puppy and your kids do as well, which is highly recommended, the more time spent with the puppy the more outgoing your puppy will be. Just make sure your kids know what to do. If you do that, you will get an awesome pet who loves kids. Once the puppy is about 7 months old you don't have to supervise them that often any more. The puppy will be older and knows how to deal with young children.
